Hans Thalbauer is globally responsible for Industrial Transformation Initiatives such as Industry 4.0 and sustainability. Hans and his team are building communities with customers, partners, and governments to advance the discussion and lead the digital transformation for manufacturing and distribution intensive industries.
As a supply chain industry veteran who specializes in defining new markets and business solutions, Hans has served in a broad range of business leadership roles in his tenure at SAP.
He most recently led SAP’s Go-To-Market and Sales organization for Digital Supply Chain, addressing the evolving requirements of Chief Operating Officers and Chief Supply Chain Officers. Hans has more than 20 years of experience with SAP, holding positions in development, product and solution management, as well as go-to-market functions.
Hans engages in an ongoing dialogue with businesses and operations leaders worldwide to address customer needs and introduce ground breaking business ideas that take companies beyond their fullest potential, so they can execute on the next level of innovation.
Hans holds a degree in Business Information Systems from the University Vienna, Austria and is based out of Palo Alto, CA.
