Technology and the benefit it can provide to our society and environment have always fascinated me. While I was born and got my degree in electrical engineering in Switzerland, I also knew I wanted to experience the mindset and innovation of Silicon Valley, and so I moved here when I was 24 years old.
In the Swisscom Outpost I analyze companies and trends related to the Internet of Things. We inspire our customers in Switzerland to actively shape the future with us and help them solve their problems by scouting for solutions and then implementing them.
The potential of truly smart systems is hugely inspiring to me, as the possibilities are nearly endless: From resource-efficient buildings to optimized supply chains to saving human lives on safer construction sites, everything is possible. It doesn’t hurt that some IoT devices like robots and drones are just super cool.
